Inspiration from the number 10 found in her name. With over 17 years of experience in the hair industry. She has worked in the salon, styled hair for photoshoots, and styled hair for models in NY and DC fashion shows! She grew up in Southern Virginia and now resides in Northern Virginia. Obsessed with hair, she loves to provide her clients with a multitude of options to achieve their desired look including cuts, colors, and extensions for the ultimate feel good makeover. Through her versatile experience, she prides herself in the ability to work with different textures and having a diverse clientele. She provides insight to her clients of everything she is using and why, to help maintain the style outside of the salon. Tenika will always put in the extra effort and time to make her clients happy, make them feel that they are priority and that their appointment is not rushed. When you look good, she looks good! She is super welcoming and you will most likely feel like you have gained more than just a stylist, but a friend. After working in the corporate salon world for years, she is excited to have created a private salon studio that is a safe, clean environment with warm vibes; using only high quality styling and color products. Continuing education is another important factor for Tenika as she strives to get more certifications to keep up with trending techniques in extensions and color. When she is not in the salon she is most likely creating her next hair project on herself and will probably look like a new person every time you see her. Cancellation Policy
I understand that special circumstances are unavoidable and cancellations may be necessary. If you find yourself unable to keep your appointment I request at least 24 hours notice. All cancellations must be done online from the link in your appointment confirmation. Cancellations through email or social media will not be valid. Clients who do not honor their appointments may be charged the cancellation fee as follows:
24 hours notice: service or services may be canceled without charge
Failure to show: 30% service will be charged
Cancellation under 24 hours notice: service or services are subject to a charge up 15% of the service(s).
